I completely and utterly disagree with this article in every facet and sense of the word. I play Guild Wars, in which PvE is pretty much dead but PvP lives on with gimmicks and such. But overall, I like story lines in all games because it adds a sense of immersion that only hardcore players can get from PvP. I can't play most games without getting immersed in them.

Why has nobody said Beyond Good and Evil 2 yet? Everyone now realizes that game was underappreciated yet awesome. And that cliffhanger has stuck with me for years. The same goes for Psychonauts, though I doubt that'll ever happen.
