When Did You Stop Playing Cookie Clicker?

Stop? Why would I stop? I've only been playing for 17,773 hours, and I'm only making 168 quintillion cookies per second! I can't stop yet!

Weird late 90s/early 2000s LEGO video games.

Just a few years ago I went back and played, and finally finished, Lego Rock Raiders. If I had to pick a game from my childhood it would be that one! I remember playing it all the time when I was younger, but never managing to finish it. It's one game I would not at all oppose a remake/remastery of!

    splinter cell HD bugged?

F1 might work, if I recall? If you have thermal goggles you may not a code and will have to figure it out from the heat of the keys.

Battlefield 4's a "New Form of Cultural Aggression", Says Chinese State Media

Is it just me, or did that read like, "We know Russia has been the go-to bad guy for years, and we're totally cool with that, so don't make us the bad guys, cause when you do that it's Cultural Aggression"?

Valve's Newell and Electronic Arts Promote "Hour of Code"

Python's really more of a convenience language, as far as I'm concerned: it's really easy to write quick, dirty code to do an arbitrary task, but for proper development I would stay away: it's absurdly slow for doing any real computations. Just to give an example, a program I had that took a...

A Zombie Survival Game For Me

Well, have you considered Minecraft? While it's not purely a zombie survival game, most of what you just described is in it: Co-op: Create a password protected server and play with just the two of you. Scary: The "HSSSS"! of a creeper before it blows your ass to kingdom-come. Also, it...

Call of Duty: Ghosts Made $1 Billion in One Day

I definitely would. When Steam had the last few BLOPS 2 weekends with Multiplayer only, I think I clocked less than 6 hours over all 3 or 4 times its been done. It's really only the campaigns that interest me.

Recommend me a good set of headphones

I'd recommend the Tek'n'motion Intruder headphones. They're over the ear, have 2 removable microphones (one for gaming, one for talking on the phone), and extension cord with volume control and mic power switcher, and one or two other do-dads I think. They're also nicely padded, and can fold up...

    Best (free) game-making software?

Greetings everyone! So I'm looking to create a game. Now, when I say that I don't mean to sell it, or even to distribute it beyond a few friends at the most. I simply want to create a game because it seems like fun! :) However, I don't know what software to use to create said game. The...

7 Days to Die Is DayZ Crossed With Minecraft

"The crafting system features a spacious five-by-five grid and you won't need a wiki for it." BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH single best line in that video! That said, it still looks pretty awesome, and I'm definitely going to have to check it out. My poor, poor wallet...

Poll: A thought on American Idol and similar shows.

As I can very proudly say that I've never watched American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, or any other related show, I can also honestly say I would not watch a show regardless of who wrote the music they're singing.

Auto-detect video settings in PC games

I have never once played a game with the default/recommended settings. I've always found that by turning off both Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering I get MASSIVE performance increases and can afford to increase the other settings instead.
