I played it for 40 hours on the promise that it would eventually GET good.. it didnt.

Well I still think that mario galaxy has the best LOOKING visuals of this gen.. and it's not even in hi-def. Sometimes art style matters more than tech. .. And ALWAYS gameplay matters more than both.

From someone who's played for 40 hours (chapter 12) - waiting for it to ACTUALLY get good.. I can assure you it doesn't.

I spent 40 hours trying to find the "Game" in this. After realising that before i can progress to chapter 12 i need to grind for another 10 hours or so - i noticed i wasnt actually having fun and was just trying to finish the pile of poop to say i had done. i havent turned it on since.

Yes because mario galaxy is an exact copy of the original game and not in any way original or inventive.. .. oh.. wait.

Of course they dont! The minute they announce they're working on something new - sales of the current system will drop. That'd be dumb considering how well it's selling (still)!
