Hmm, i enjoy playing 2D RPGs even today, which of course don´t have any voice acting, but can create a thrilling atmosphere anyways (imo). But in an RPG like Skyrim, that has such stunningly beautiful grafics, wouldn´t you miss voice-overs? I mean it looks kind of weird when you see moving lips...
