Thinkin of an old pc game, it was in 3d. You had a jet/helicopter thing that could also turn into a tank. You had to attack bases and enemies in either form and the levels were quite hilly but very desert coloured - orange/sandy etc from what I remember. I think I got it with an old graphics...
