I think Halo's story is quite good. It's definitely more than the sum of its parts.

Stronghold was an amazing RTS game IMO. Graphics weren't that great, but the combat and castle building elements of the game were outstanding.

Eternal Darkness. That game MESSED with my head. At one point *minor spoilers*, the game basically shut it self off and thanked me for playing the "demo" of Eternal Darkness. Needless to say I was absolutely ticked off that someone had sold me a "demo" copy of the game. Heads would have...
