I always start in normal mode but if it was a really great game that I wanna play a second time I need to make it more difficult as a replacement for the suprise effects when not knowing the plot.

plus it was so much better than the other pre- & sequels. you still had some kind of story in it and much more tuning options. mainly I played it just for designing car layouts I think ^^
