i agree how The animatrix gave background on the robot revolution and human riots was amazing. but for me i would say Vampire Hunter D. (both of them, the original and Bloodlust) and on a more quiet note Furi Kuri or FLCL or Fooly Cooly. depending on how you want to say it. funny show :D
