I personally like to simply cracked pepper/rock salt each side just before I cook them. That, or slice some garlic, crush it with the side of the knife, then cut a small slit into the steak and insert the sliver of garlic. Pepper/salt to taste. Simple, yet effective.

Can one purchase the unedited version of Left 4 Dead 2 using that method? EDIT: I could've saved a further $20 off MW2 using that storefront...sigh.
