Don't get me wrong. I love JRPG's. They are one of my favorite genres. There's just sometimes one character that no one, but NO ONE, could possibly find appealing.

I would be a very sad individual. Also, with the thousands of hours of time I've spent on Final Fantasy over the years suddenly being open I probably would have cured cat lukemia a while ago. As for games probably Dragonquest would have twice the fanbase it currently does.

I'm just talking about in any game where you've encountered a character that seems like it would be considered universally annoying by anyone who encountered it. Every time their mouth opens you just go "Uugh" and have a taste like vomit in the back of your throat. You know, that sort of thing.

Why does it seem like alot of games seem to think that annoying is the same thing as cute or funny? It baffels me. JRPG's seem the most guilty of this. As an example I'm playing Blue Dragon right now. The character Marumaro is seriously the most annoying little creature I've ever seen. Seriously...
