My advice? Get DW4, and read Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Seriously, read it - it is *so* worth the time, although the start is a bit slow. Once Kongming (Zhuge Liang) comes in however, it becomes the most kickass piece of (classic) literature I've read in a while. And I read a lot!

Protect Self, aligned to Chattur'gha. Aligning spells with Mantorok makes things too easy, I find. Oh how I loved Eternal Darkness.
