there is still oxygen but the surface is plagued by violent storms so everyone just lives underground

that sounds pretty cool, though from the title i thought they were shooting laser beams a lightening bolts in the sky just for shits and giggles.

i usually play on the normal setting first and do more play through on harder difficulties if i consider it worthy, but i tried to play gears of war on its "normal" setting and my allies dropped like flies.
