I know how I got into MGS. I read every article explaining why MGS is the greatest PS1 game along with FF7, then finally made myself play it in 2009 or 2010. I have the ability to put myself in the mindset where it's year 19XY again and I'm playing the top quality game available on the market...

I planned to do a non-academic essay on this topic for some time but never got round to doing it.
Basically the core idea I had is that people draw pleasure from games they play based on several main sources that every game...
Wait... could it be possible to... play both on PC and consoles? *shock-shock*
I can't play God of War and MGSolid on PC and I can't play STALKER and Killing Floor on consoles. Heaven forbid I should own both platforms!
The only game I can think of is actually called "DSCHUMP" and it has a ball bouncing along platforms in what looks like outer space, and has arrows but I think those reverse the direction of the ball. Just a guess, but worth a shot.
