Not buying a game because you believe it won't interest you = Great
Going onto forums for that game/its developer and saying it is a bad game without trying it = Not Great.
Really any forum discussion on said game. If someone asks your personal opinion feel free to say that it doesn't...
You make an interesting point but I'm afraid your wrong. Xbox live holds your multi player (or at best your online multi player) hostage until you cough up the money steam doesn't.
I agree about the girl gamer bit...but I am a gamer...hear me rawr? :P
Seriously though I'm a book reader and a movie watcher as well...but almost all people in there lives at some point have done both of those. Yes more and more people are playing games but I'm happy being a gamer myself...
Thats actually one of the big things there working on with cataclysm is to fix up the 1-60 experience.
Also I liked matrix onlines take with combat...but sadly that died several years back due to many things not the least of which was only selling it in America.
I have to say I actually liked timeshift when played on a difficulty level where the sucky combat didn't get in the way of the fun time powers. And multiplayer was a bit different to your standard shooter cuase of the time bubbles.
Thats sounds like the one in The Matrix: Path of Neo both the end boss fight which they actually explained there were being wankers (doesn't make it any better but at least they bothered to say so) and the fight on top of the posts that basically nothing to do with the previous or future combat.
I always end up saying its like Diablo but or its like oblivion but. I gave up on the term RPG being useful a long time ago. But I find the same problem with music genres. Both my lack of knowledge of what "should" be what combined with a lot of people not agreeing on what any specific band...
Yeah I loved the game as a whole. Whoever wrote the side quests was brilliant. The fighting mechanics were great. The character customization was good. The main storyline was a pain.
edit: Without spoilers but the "ending" sucks (I say "ending" because the game doesn't actually end)
Yes I do believe they should...and go make a book or a movie...or find someone else who can make a good game to go with there good story because plenty of games suffer from that...
