It occurs to me that the moniker might actually be appropriate, because with the wii around we have a 'current gen' system with 'last gen' capabilities. Since we havn't let go of that era of graphics and hardware yet, we seem to yet have a reason to refer to the new generation as 'next'. ...

I never quite understood these brand arguments. Supposedly I picked the wrong brands for my CPU and GPU, but UT3 runs like butter with maxed settings. On Vista. But if everybody else says my system is weak... I just must not be in the know~

That's a good way to start an arguement. People have personal preferences on the matter of CPUs... I'd leave it at that. But if you don't have a preference already, you're absolutely going to be fine either way.

Luckily other controlers work through telepathy, so they're not violating that patent.
