The game I'm looking for was played on an oldish machine. Not dos, early windows. Likely the 95-2000 era. It was a top down turn based strategy game with bright colored graphics. My 8 year old mind seems to remember it being called "prestigious escape", but I remember never reading that first...

It's of a similar style, but I remember the character model being bigger on the screen. There were also more than just enemy hazards. There were things that could electrocute you IIRC. I remember it being quite difficult, even for the first level. Also, it's a PC game, not Atari. :)
