Stick with Trigun. It gets serious and becomes really dark half way through. And the voice acting is fine. Not as good as CB but still decent. Cowboy bebop has "weird anime faces & and a bunch of little kids/girls running around with guns" in it also, so that point is irrelevant. If you like CB...
