I would recommend the FIRST half of Death Note (The excellent part) and Hellsing OVA. Sadly enough, Hellsing OVA still isn't done yet, but what has come out is just great~ Naruto is good, but the manga is somewhat better simply because you don't have the cringe-worthy filler.
