yeah, scarecrow made me jump about a foot into the air... no Nintindo game has made me say as much profanity as when the first metroid rams the glass of it's container trying to get at you. I raced out of that area as fast as possible trying to escape them all.

That's terrible reasoning. look at all of the absolutely fantastic sequels out there, that by your reasoning should never have been made. God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Baulder's Gate, Spiderman (#2, not 3) all have incredible sequels. People want sequels because the first one was GOOD...

the one reason I can never hate final fantasy is that it single-handedly saved an entire company. that doesn't stop me from hating ffx-2, though, god that game got old fast, and the origional ffx's only good part was blitzball.

I liked the first, had fun with the second, the third got annoying and old fast. ODST dared to be different, so I enjoyed that.

Glad you mentioned AC, because once you hit your rhythm in that game (thinking For Answer, here), it becomes one of the most fun things I've ever played. Sadly, I made the mistake of ticking off the 4 strongest people you fight and can't beat them all at once.

Guilty Gear X2 Reload. Not that I'm a connoisseur of the genre, but of everything I've played, GG is by far my favorite. This is probably because everything is so off the wall, with every character being very different yet still (somewhat) balanced. Plus, I've defeated Justice on Maniac...

Rules of sniping: find spot, shoot, move, repeat until opponents are convinced there are 5 of you. congratulations, you're a bonafide sniper. actually, that's how it worked in America's Army, if youstayed in one spot you were dead meat.
