Games you think everyone should at least try.

Holy crap, I thought I was one of the only people who played that game! Legend of Dragoon was actually my first game with multiple CDs and the story was amazing back when I was a kid. You're right, it makes me want to go out and find another copy just so I could appreciate it more after so many...

Katawa Shoujo was indeed amazing, I just recently finished it. All of the different love paths touched me in a very personal way. How it portrayed romance in general was very tasteful and mature, something that I've found very hard to find and extremely welcome.

Very true from what I can tell; I've only had a taste from the demo but just from that I could tell it was rather stellar for what it was. The weapons were fantastic and the shooting itself was extremely visceral, which is why I was surprised when the game was written off as you said.

Games you think everyone should at least try.

Fantastic post, thank you very much for this. I've never hear of Planescape, but I've heard nothing but good things about Persona and Okami (and by extension, Okami-Den?). Psychonauts I have played, and I agree that it was a fantastic game just for its set-up alone, and was the game that got me...

Games you think everyone should at least try.

Being as young as I am, I've never really taken video games seriously as an interactive medium until the past year or two, and lately I've been doing what I can to broaden my horizons in the world of video games. I've been trying out various genres and titles that I never would have even touched...

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

That would definitely be a welcome edition. It does tend to feel a bit disjointed when everyone is saying that the end of the world is near but the dragons don't appear more often than in the beginnings of the game. It is very viable that going to the old times for an expansion would allow...

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

True. I felt the same way when I first played Knights of the Nine with how right after I exited the sewers, I was notified of what happened in Anvil. All of your ideas are awesome, and all of them make sense in terms being likely expansions since they've only been brushed upon in the main game...

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

You sir, deserve cookies. The only problem that could come out of what you proposed is a character becoming overpowered. But even then you could just raise the difficulty proportionately to how easy the game may be getting for you. Seriously though, get yourself some cookies.

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

I played all the expansions for Fallout 3, and I would agree with you by saying that Mothership Zeta was definitely one the weaker if not the weakest of the five. The main reason I like it is because of the set-up and the awesome energy weapons. It may not have been up to everyone's standards of...

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

That is something I've considered; perhaps I've been going through it to the point of burning myself out. It seems likely that taking a slower pace will allow the experience to be savored much more in the long run. Thank you for the suggestion.

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

That is an option I have considered before; making a small group characters where each would specialize in only one field of general gameplay (i.e. magic, combat, & stealth). Another option I thought about was only having one particular character complete only quests that would pertain to them...

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

That friend, is a genius idea. Like you said, Bethesda would about as much space to work with as Shivering Isles, and since the Thalmor have already been established in the main game, all they would have to do is expand upon them. Plus, it could turn into a much more personal narrative if your...

Thanks for the advice! Great comments as well.

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

True; horse armor is a must. And no doubt that sweet 7 million they've earned is giving the compensation they deserve for such an epic game. Nice avatar by the way.

How is Bethesda going to handle Skyrim's expansions?

That seems very likely. One thing I didn't really like about Shivering Isles was that it only existed in it's own little pocket-dimension. It was cool as hell, but it did not feel like it was a part of Tamriel itself. Hopefully, Skyrim will let us visit more actual regions within the continent...
