No Right Answer: Most Addictive Timesink Ever

My biggest timesink would have to be Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. My parks were epic, I never wanted to turn that game off. Civilization was pretty addictive too, but not as much as RCT2.

Mass Effect 3 Launch Trailer Redefines "Epic"

I hadn't played Mass Effect until I downloaded and played the Mass Effect 3 demo and I have to say it was pretty underwhelming. Maybe I'll give it another crack later on, but I still don't see what the big deal is. Then again, some people don't see what the big deal is with the games I...

Rumors Swirl Over SimCity 5 Announcement Next Week

Wow, freaky. I was just thinking earlier today about a new Sim City game. And this one sounds awesome. Can't wait.

Bad guys you quickly/later realized weren't actually evil.

Just about every Grand Theft Auto game has the opposite of this. Well, most people the protagonist interacts with aren't exactly good, but it always turns out that someone you thought was on your side turns out to be against you.

Poll: Anyone else hate the Skyrim animal races?

I like the way the Khajiit and Argonians look in Skyrim. They have evolved to be more 'human-like' than their predecessors. At first I thought this was just a typo, but you wrote it twice. My OCD is forcing me to point out it's Morrowind. Also, Orcs (Orsimer) are elves, descendent from...

Poll: Should every game have difficulty setting?

I always play every game on the medium setting anyway so I'm not really bothered either way. It generally seems to me that games that don't have difficulty settings don't really need them. The only games I've played where I've cared about the difficulty setting was the Monkey Island games. More...

Poll: Just pulled my first college all-nighter, you ever done it?

I hate sleep, such a waste of time. I've pulled many, many all-nighters. Can't remember if any where for study though.

Poll: Borderlands 2 Release Date Officially Announced

I loved borderlands, and this looks like so much awesome. I really, really can't wait. Pre-ordering for sure. September is ages away though.

    Skyrim Map Gets DLC

Meh, I prefer just to find the locations the old fashioned way, by wandering across them or getting directions from characters in the game. This seems to defeat the purpose of having a big open world to 'explore'.

Bethesda: Skyrim DLCs "Closer to Expansion Packs"

You know what I'd like to see in a game like this? A protagonist who isn't psychic. You're thinking: "What? The Dragonborn isn't psychic!" But how else do you explain the fact that your character knows the name of everyone he meets just by looking at them as well as a plethora of other prior...

What are some of the saddest songs you can think of?

These songs are sad to me: Counting Crows - Colorblind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=164jS1qnCU0 CKY - Close Yet Far http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qz8MsY0p24

    "Wait, I can do that?"

Morrowind didn't have fast travel, just public transport to major cities. Also, I didn't realise that the first time I played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (for XBox) that if you used a recall potion to get back to the shop, you could just warp back to where you were. I'd run all the way back...

Audio: What headphones do you use?

I have (and have had for years) a pair of Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones. Excellent sound quality and were perfect for my Audio Engineering course. Not cheap though.

    Recommendation for dark/gritty/depressing films

Moon is definitely a good one to watch that'll fit this category. Also, I'm not sure if it fits with your requirements, but Defendor is good as well. In Bruges, though funny in places is ultimately a depressing film. Maybe, also, He Died With A Falafel In His Hand.

Zero Punctuation: Star Wars: The Old Republic

"Massively Multiplayer Online Rage Producing Gobbledegook." Hehe, it's funny because it's true. But seriously, other people annoy me. That is why I stick to your run-of-the-mill offline single-player RPGs.
