Stealth Games Don't Have to Be About Killing People

Good idea but The Conman doesn't sound like much fun to play. I like the concept but I think the execution will be difficult to pull off and keep it fun.

    Hating Multiplayer Creep

Having followed Yahtzee for a few years, this article doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me is that Yahtzee owns a bar. How do you own a bar and not like people?

No Right Answer: Worst Videogame Ending Ever

You're both wrong. Borderlands had the worst ending of all time. You spent dozens of hours collecting loot and hunting for the vault with the expectation that when you finally open the vault, it's the biggest stash of loot you've seen yet with all of the best shit in the game that you can then...

Employees Claim EB Canada is Dropping Preowned Sections

Ugh. I wasn't EB/Gamestop's biggest fan to begin with. If this is true then I'll never buy anything there again.

Extra Punctuation: Uncharted 3 Should've Tried Harder

Yahtzee, you may be right about everything that you say but to be perfectly honest, I don't give two flying s**ts. The Uncharted games are FUN games with FUN stories and FUN characters. And that's what video games are all about...FUN. Sometimes I think you lose sight of this fact. Either...

Extra Punctuation: The Sandbox Killed Batman

I've never disagreed with Yahtzee more. I've been playing Batman: Arkham City every day since the day it came out and I've had more fun with it than I have had with a game in a very long time. I feel more like Batman than any other video game makes me feel like its protagonist. I will admit...

    Zero Punctuation: Batman: Arkham City

Oh and by the way, Yahtzee, Gotham does have the money for crime prevention programs but one of the over-arching stories in the Batman universe is that most of the police force is corrupt.

    Zero Punctuation: Batman: Arkham City

I think I got caught up on stuff when flying around as Batman two or three times but that's about it. And every time it happened, it was because I screwed up. Not the game's fault. Yes, a lot of the villains felt crammed into the story but it made sense in some ways because this is Arkham...

Analyst Predicts GTA V Will Be Digital Only

Haha. I knew it wasn't Pachter as soon as I read the headline. Pachter tends to make intelligent predictions.

Zero Punctuation: Gears of War 3

I don't think Yahtzee is wrong about anything that he says about the game. But despite the fact that the characters are shallow and the plot is forgetable, the game is fun to play. And that's what matters to me the most. Sometimes I'm in the mood for mindless slaughter from behind chest-high...

Extra Punctuation: Why No Couples in Games?

Another exception to this rule is the Uncharted series. Drake's relationship with Elena has evolved quite a bit over the course of two games and given that she's wearing a wedding ring in the trailers for Uncharted 3, it look as if they might now be married.

Escapist Podcast: 004: The Witcher 2 & LA Noire

Ah. I see. I didn't realise that because I didn't listen to it. Another Podcast, of which I already listen to many, is not worth it for me to join the Publisher's Club. Thanks for the clarification though.

Escapist Podcast: 004: The Witcher 2 & LA Noire

I have to second this. I listened to the first Podcast and found it to be very interesting but I don't have the time to sit by my computer listening for an hour. I would gladly listen if I could put it on my iPod and listen to it when I'm in the car like I do with every other Podcast I listen to.

Extra Punctuation: Roleplaying Homosexual in Dragon Age 2

Awesome Extra Punctuation. I've gained a whole new respect for Yahtzee, a journalist I had quite a bit of respect for to begin with anyway. Well done and well said, Yahtzee!

    294: Grandpa Holds the Cards

My grandmother played video games until almost the very end. She had a NES and later a super Nintendo. She loved games of solitare, Dr. Mario, Tetris and a few other puzzle games that aren't coming to mind right now.
