I've been playing Final Fantasy since I got Final Fantasy for my NES back in oh... 1990ish. Got the strategy guide for it and then finally had the $60 I think it was for the game and boom! I had it, played it, and played it, and played it, and played it, and what seemed like an eternity later...

Actually the only thing I can think of off the top of my head my country (as in direct government action) has done for us is create the internet. Thank you Russia for making our government do something useful for once with tax dollars.
