Actually, that's pretty true. Ninja Gaiden is pretty awesome as well, though it's a lot more difficult than GoW.

Bayonetta is way out there and over-the top, but fun for exactly those reasons. Not a perfect game, and it's no God of War, really, but I enjoyed it tremendously. The combat, though quite complicated (in a good way), moved pretty smoothly. Moreso than I was expecting at least. Overall, fun, but...
