Yea, that about sums up the singleplayer. It's just a way too long quicktime event with intermissions, in which you have to shoot a bit by yourself.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming soon to Japan, don't know if that counts as reboot for you. Either way it looks fantastic, but as always with those japanese MMOs.. it might or might not come to the EU and US.

TBH, this would have some longevity if it was the other way around. It would be very entertaining to have something like this that tells you all the wrong ways to do it. But this? I don't see an audience for that. Personally.. I never had trouble getting the woman that is the right one for me...

On the "why beta?" part, well Blizzard knows how much publicity a beta is making, it's a huge marketing stunt. For quite some time especially open betas have been a very good way of making sure people buy your game. In a way its a free trial, and if the game delivers, it's a first fix to start...
