I'll give you that and depending on the way choosing love interests is set up, it could make the story change from what would happen if you chose another person or no one at all. Though I'm sure a game has done this before (other than dating-sims) and would up the replay value for any good RPG...
While on the topic of love in RPGs, I'd have to belive that it won't be appearing much in them, and even if they do feature it it isn't going to be that well developed or engaging (I have not played Dragon Age: Origins, so I wouldn't know anything about the level of NPC interaction in the game)...
while I'm not familiar with most of the games that these people are talking about, I'd have to recommend Fallout 3. The storyline is good and gets better with the addition of the Broken Steel DLC (i loved that giant robot) and it only helps that your father in game is voiced by Liam Neeson (...
There is no such thing as noobish tactics, guns, attachments, perks, or kill or death streaks. You earned the thing by killing people like them over and over again. What right do they have to insult you for using any of the things that you were rewarded?
Until my copy of CoD 4's multiplayer starts magically working or Modern Warfare 2 turns out to be a good game, Go Treyarch and their Axis of Evil Zombies
