There was this game that the first cut scene was a huge strange ship rising from the ground. You then start as a car that can scan stuff, your mission would be to scan stuff for your ship to produce them or something... memories fussy.

Can anyone help me remember this game where you start as some sort of archeologist as a main character, and then you walk a couple of paces, and then you find some people that are praying to some sort of statue, then they start running away from you. I'll describe the cover of the game too...
