I can imagine that film being released and getting criticized for being made in the first place. "We're wasting money making stupid films in space!"

I was reading some of the Facebook comments on how bad the optimization is for Borderlands on the PC. Since I don't have a FB account, I just have this to add here: I am on a second-gen i7 running at 4.5 GHz, along with a GTX 590 video card. There are seriously parts where I drop down to ~25 fps...
These characters look more like their Morrowind counterparts than they do their Oblivion ones, which is very nice. There was a comparison picture I saw not too long ago, and made me realize there was a bit of sameness to characters in Oblivion.
You know, honestly, if they make their mod tools allow for new skill sets easily along with adding new weapon types (like spears), that would be rad, and would allow PC players to customize their experience, at least. I know there are problems now with armor because of the way they did it that...
Not surprised, but that's a pretty messed up response, promising an update like that just to say no. Why not say no then and there instead of doing this false hope announcement crap?

While I agree with you, you also need to understand that, historically, comments like the one made usually means simplifying things in a negative manner to gamers who want more of a challenge or involvement...
Like a couple of others have said, it's fine if it's a smaller team per game.
I wonder, though, how much better design documents would be if they were more visual. They certainly help with cooking recipes :).
