That is true but I just mean when in reality would you ever see someone use something like that. It's fine for games because it's different I just feel that they are pretty impractical although entertaining.

Anything that sprays acid or shoots electricity. Why dissolve their flesh or send their muscles into spasms and eventually kill them when a bullet to the head or even a club could just as easily down them. Sure it's entertaining in a video game but not very efficient.

A sniper rifle is designed to be used while stationary from a distant position to engage and eliminate targets. A shotgun on the other hand is designed for close quarters combat, something that is a lot more mobile. A person siting still with a sniper rifle in a game is more along the lines of...

I prefer sniper weapons but they aren't the best weapons, a situational weapon but I like them.
