I like WoW a lot, and I've never played Warhammer, but I assume I'll want a break from WoW eventually, and WAR is a likely place for me to go. Hearing that they're still implementing significant new content is pretty exciting as a potential future customer of theirs.

I just don't understand why Dave Perry's being such a jerk about this. I mean, he blew Sony's cover, and they did a damage control press release that didn't even mention him. Why is he trying to force Sony into talking about things they're clearly not ready to talk about?

Skate 2 wasn't created for skaters, it was created for people that played Skate 1. The first game had a much more gentle learning curve, but the second one... Well, I wonder what Yahtzee's opinion would have been if he'd only played the first one.

Leaving off or special-thanks-ing people who leave before the end of a project is pretty standard practice in the game industry, and I think the guy is totally right that keeping a comprehensive list of credits for an MMO is impractical at best. No one is going to read the credits for a game...

The comparison to WiiWare is probably a bad idea. WiiWare is really more of a contemporary to the Live Arcade program already in place. Both are only available to licensed developers with dev kits. This new program lets people develop games for a negligible cost, and submit them for peer review...

Yahtzee points out the poor QA in this video, but it's probably not a tester's fault. With very few exceptions, if there's a bug in a game, QA found it and bugged it, and then it got closed as acceptable.
