I don't really see why destroying every reaper, and with them, possibly millions of years worth of knowledge is a good thing. But hey, they were the ones attacking us, It's not like we had a choice...except Commander Shepard did, and he wiped out the reapers, because they tried to wipe out...
I don't collect manga or comics, nor do I live in the US, but this is a bit...too serious to be ironical or parodistic or anything the sort. I don't like it.
Dying is far to overrated. The real question is: would you LIVE for your country? If you live for someone or something, then dying for them is no problem, however this doesn't work the other way around.
My answer is "no" to both questions by the way: I don't beleive there is any good reason to...
I'm crying tears. I'm crying tears.
First of all, people don't know about From Dust. Incredible. Unforgivable. Criminal!
And THEN it gets delayed by approximately 0.66 months! Damn. Not that it's suprising, just annyoing.
Oh well...
This is a rather old "technique":
'Here, take this STUFF'S_NAME_HERE. It's free!' Said the wo/man with an encouraging smile.
A tingle around your spine warned yout that this is a trap, but tingles are there to be ignored, right? You took the thing, and thanked the nice person for their...
I don't think this sale applies te Europe. There seems to be some price drop for both upgrade and standard editions but the sale mentioned in this article is something extra on top of that. The only difference between the two seems to be one month's subscription fee.
I don't really care for...
Well, this was expected, since Witcher 2 is just more and better of The Witcher, but it's still the same game, trying to appeal to the same audience...which sadly excludes Yahtzee. Or at least that is the conclusion I've come to after watching most of his revews on RPGs I loved. :D
I said that backwater villages SHOULD have very weak guards and that the best guards should even beat you midgame IF they gang up the player. By the endgame your character is usually as powerful as a god, so obviously no ordinary human can stop her/him.
But it's not like Tamriel doesn't have...
All great news except the weaker guards.
I mean, okay, a backwater village probably has a somewhat underequipped "police" body with members who possibly got posted there because they are useless slobs. But, bigger cities, especially more prominent districts of those should have elite guards...
"Betters us how?"
Not all research has to be innovative you know. Maybe this doesn't look all that useful now, but it will probably has it's use later, when similar studies use it's results. It might also give ideas to people to start similar studies or write a book or create a religous sect or...
Well...tabloids. And that about sums up my oppinion.
I don't know about other contries, but around these parts, tabloids are as reliable as your avarage con man. I sometimes read them at the barber shop and have great fun with them but every single sentence reeks of bad manipulation attempts...
I have no special comment on the main topic of this episode, but the "protecting people from their own stupiditiy" part caught my attention.
I'm sure others will tell you (I mean Bob) that social darwinism or anything slightly pointing to that direction is not exactly humanitarian. I think...
While I do agree with some parts of this review, I must point out that fighting in Witcher 2 is laughfully easy and not compley at all. I mean, it can be: On hard difficulty or if you want to use everything.
But otherwise, even on normal, it becomes VERY easy once you put at least one point on...
