Yes the hbby is very expensive, but also a lot of fun to do.

It seems you already pretty much made up your mind about what you're going to buy. Good choice with black templars, i'm not a space marine fan but they do kick some ass against all other races. Also a good choice on tau, i play them myself and they can blast everything away if used properly.
