Cant say i noticed its pre-launch hype. But theres bound to be a "awesome" effect when you put Vikings and Dragons into a game. :) But it definitly deserved the post-launch hype it got. I didn't think they would be able to make me feel like i felt when playing Morrowind for the first time...

How i see it; sales tell how average a game is. If you sell 7 billion units, your game is so average that 7 billion people have found a common ground. And we humans are so different that you have to have a REALLY average game for this many people to like it. A good game, on the other hand...

Awesome story (imho). Wave of baddies and horrible areas was the only bad stuff. Yeah, and the fact that a wizard can walk openly in a city where wizards are forbidden.

It is an even bigger lack of female protagonists in believable, practical clothing. And i wish there was more male protagonists with an average body-build (without looking like a kid). They need more Gordon Freemen!
