To my knowledge most older cartridges and CDs are not copy-protected.
As far as "backup copy" law is concerned in the United States there is a clear clause that states you can make one copy of your software for personal use if the original software is damaged or lost. You must own a valid...
To be perfectly honest I might be part of what I see as their "unintended" target audience. If I want to do gaming I can simply do it on my glorious PC. There may be times when I just want to sit in bed (or in a comfortable position away from a TV) and do a bit of gaming. I think it caters to...
Once again Nintendo is behind the times and out of touch with anybody outside of their microscopic circle. Nintendo has too much of a business mindset to do well in the games industry. Their draconian practices, artificial scarcity, and blatant disdain for their fans is finally starting to catch...
Slight problem - Nvidia's latest drivers aren't exactly stable either. For my part I'll be waiting a few months for both Nvidia and Bethesda get their acts together.
Nvidia has been going full AMD for the last few month's worth of drivers. One of Nvidia's best selling points used to be its stable drivers. Unfortunately I am too scared to update my drivers nowadays. I've given AMD a lot of shit in the past, but if this keeps up I may seriously look into AMD...
The movie looks cute, but I wouldn't go to a theater to see it. This kind of movie will likely see a majority of its sales in blu-ray releases. This looks like one of those movies that kids pop into a blu-ray player and watch over and over and over again. I can't speak for the actual quality of...
Fair enough. People hate on Bioshock 2 for reasons I simply can't see, but it is still an extremely solid game that feels like it belongs in the series. It's better to think of it as a supplement to the world building than as a sequel to the first game. You'll have much more fun playing the game...
I'd be cautious. They'll likely say only people who bought the games before a certain date are eligible for the upgrade. Either way, the three games are a steal for $10 USD (the current discounted price). Even if you aren't eligible for the upgrade later I highly recommend the regular versions.
"Will retail for 60 USD"
Why would I buy that if I can get all 3 games for $5 from any Steam sale and the games still hold up extraordinarily well?
"Free upgrade for PC gamers"
I stand corrected. Way to go, 2K.
Considering how poorly designed LoL is I am not surprised that they moved over to a new game once something well made enough came out in their market. I'm even more surprised it took this long. I laugh any time somebody mentions that LoL is a good game. It just shows me they've been brainwashed...
You do realize how much work they have to put into the show to make it topical, right? Each episode is essentially written the week before it airs. Making and directing video games is a full time job. It is absolutely impractical to do both at the same time for extended periods of time.
As...
