Perhaps he meant that the US hasn't fought a real war on american soil since the American Civil War.
One thing is to send troops abroad, another is to figt in your home soil.
I was quite excited about this game, mainly because I thought it would feature Stealth Warfare like COD 4, I just loved the stealth section where you play as Lt. Price (later to be Cpt. Price) in Pripyat.
Also I thought COD:BO would be mainly set in the Vietnam war. The Vietnam war is by far...
Well FO3 improved a lot of what Oblivion had. I think Yahtzee main criticism of Obliovion was the lack of immersion. FO3 corrected it quite a bit.
BTW: Darkman Rulez
I think it's just VERY good marketing. The innovation of the Wii and the DS in the end is only a nuissance in gameplay, unless you play Wii bowling or something.
Nintendo just knew how to advertize their console promising a system for EVERYONE!
In the end only few have fun with it.
And...
1 The Wiimote is a reason NOT to buy the bloody thing
2 There are great games in other consoles too. At leasts the other consoles do not alwats thread the same ground over and over again
3 There you are right: it's a cheap piece of crap
4 Actually the Wii has some plusses I guess
5...
Those were great games. I guess since the graphics were not that advanced at the time the designers had more time to concetrate on story and atmosphere.
I often enjoy playing those old games, sometimes more than new ones, escpecially for the story and the wit they contain.
I do love Fallout...
I do not understand why Dead Space qualifies as "survival horror"? You find loads of ammo and health and everytime is the same procedure: you shoot the monsters in the legs and then stomp on the like you are Super Mario breaking them in pieces. It's fun the first too levels but it gets old...
If fable 2 is anything like fable then it's definitively inferior to Oblivion or Morrowind and Fallout 3.
After I finished Fable I unistalled it and buried the box not to see it again.
Well I do not really wanto to kill the children in FO3 (I play the good guy) I just tried once to see what would happen, how much Karma I would lose and such. When I shot a kid in Canterbury Commons he ran away crying but did not die. It was quite funny. No Karma was lost.
FO3 was great, not...
After the HUGE disappointment that was Fable TLC and after seeing that Fable II looks & plays a lot like Fable TLC I thing I will just stay awayfrom this game until it's for sale for $5 somewhere
By the way... you can't kill kids in Fallout 3 either...
'bout Fallout 3
Well it's true that FALLOUT 3 has a lot og brown and gray, and also greenish and yellow in it... and the landscape looks very dull... but it's not a bad game.
Estetically it is a little bit like a let down... but perhaps it was intended to be like that. You are in a post-...
