I'm quite a small guy, so quite use to discrimination solely upon that. Being a Scot and growing up in England meant I also got some flak from that angle. That and now the fact I sound Scottish to English people and English to Scots doesn't really help at all.
Considering that the UK nukes are actually kept in Scotland, England wouldn't actually have any nukes and thus, would probably topple pretty fast.

Yeah, but I think it's a bigger screw up considering the fact Gordon Brown isn't even English...so calling him the Prime Minister of England just seems ridiculous.
I'd broadly agree with you, but it also depends on what the effect is. There could be said to be strong evidence between Thatcher's start on the deregulation of the finance industry and the mess we're in at the moment, not helped by the politicians after her who just continued the deregulation...
However, the same could be said for Hitler, what I'm not sure is exactly a positive point...Not that I want to be seen comparing her to Hitler, just that in governing not doing things is sometimes a large part of the job too.
Our cross between what I find to be good aspects of both Continental European aspects and American elements. I think we've got a good medium, which I would sorely miss if moved abroad.
