Something strange happens every time I try to start up the game. There's no freezing or anything, it's just that I go to the main menu, and while I can move from "New" to "Load" it won't let me choose one. I assumed I just had to press enter or space, but it wouldn't work (there's nothing wrong...

I'm sure this has been asked before, this is the internet, but just in case, which one did you prefer? Also, on a side not, would you want a third?

Lord of the Rings, followed up closely by Star Wars. I loved the first Matrix film too... But the other two were God awful.

I find that games that have a good atmosphere are usually the ones that use less cut-scenes and are more immersive. Bioshock, Half Life... it's much less atmospheric to see your character walking through dark, blood stained rooms than it is when you're walking through the nightmare yourself...

This is exactly the way I see games. It's about interactivity, and all that MGS shit pisses me right off. Imagine how sucky Half Life 2 would have been had it had proper cutscenes? Things like the intro to ODST just blow me away, even if the follow up was a bit dissapointing. Although, thinking...

A machine gun that shoots out Thirty Million bullets per second, and on the end of the bullets are karate fighting midgets with uzi's that shoot out acid injecting darts, connected to the worlds largest Cuban cigar. Oh, and the midgets look like Chuck Norris.

Do you have any fickle love between some brilliant game, ruined by some ridiculous fault(s) you can't believe the designers missed, or even something that just doesn't feel right for you? The first game to come to mind would have to be Alone In The Dark, for it's incredibly high glitch count...
