Infamous: Kicked a mail box for no particular reason, was killed on the fourth kick. Not by some baddy or something, just *plunk* dead, wake up on stretcher.
First time was when a kid in Gamestop looked up from buying the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game and said "You mean there were TMNT movies before this one, Dad?". The second time was when I realized I had to scroll down to reach my birth year now.
Didn't get through the first chapter of "All the Pretty Horses" and "A Walk to Remember". Also found "A Tell of Two Cities" to slow to keep my attention past the first couple of chapters.
Don't know, seems a bit removed from the original story but I will probably check it out. Besides the Lorax was my favorite Suess story as a kid (watched it every time it came on)and I loved Despicable Me.
I'm not totally against subs. but I tend to the "It distracts from the film" and the "I don't go to the movies to read" groups. Also if someone speaks to me or I get up for a few seconds, I miss out that way.
