Poll: Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age:Origin Endings

Those are fair points. I guess not given the option to sacrifice yourself kinda makes the action lose its impact. Although I was say that not being given the option, might give the feeling of powerlessness and lost of control. However, I would say this is overshadowed by the 4 options given...

Poll: Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age:Origin Endings

Oh I agree, I not trying to really defend the endings of ME:3 just wondering if there was a statics could support my theory. IMO starting from DO:A, no Bio ware game has really had an ending to match it.

Poll: Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age:Origin Endings

Hey guys just had a question about some of Bioware's work. This isn't a post to discuss how bad or good the ending were, EC or not, but a question about if there may have be a reason not to include a "win" option in the ME3 ending. Personal the original endings were bad and the EC kinda fixed...

Poll: Lack of basic mathmatical skills

Nah its cool, you do have a point with admitting the arbitrariness can help. But from some of my experiences teaching, some students just like to be confident it that there's a set concrete rules to follow. Not saying your point is wrong, since ever person different and come to understand things...

Poll: Lack of basic mathmatical skills

I'll give you that point on cultural construct, I was vaguely thinking that when I was writing my post. Lol, you made me look at my old Anaylsis book and under the basics axioms, yes PEDMAS rules of operations are defined in there, so it is arbitrary. Also sorry I skipped some pages of the...

Poll: Lack of basic mathmatical skills

If your talking about the expression (1 + 3 * 2 ^ 4 - 5) you used before then yet you get different answers depending on how you evaluate. I understand the point, but my point was that PEMDAS ensure consistent answers when you do more complex things such as substitution. From the example I've...

Poll: Lack of basic mathmatical skills

Lol, don't post much and don't really want to sound like an ass but order of operation is not arbitrary it exists to make math consistence. A small example problem to demonstrate this is 2+3*5 So if not using PEMDAS, say your left to right, then 2+3*5 = 5*5=25 But 3*5 = 5 + 5 + 5 so...
