Just to throw my two cents into this: BioWare's stories have never been that deep and both their stories and their writing has never been that good. BioShock and Half-Life 2 are much better in both areas, and Obsidian/Black Isle overall are the kings of deep, engaging stories and quality...

This, kind of, though I think it's more that the published the original game (I think BioWare/EA still owns the IP rights) and naturally they don't want it going to the PS3. They might figure out some kind of agreement that lets them do it while keeping MS happy, but probably not. Sorry dude.
