Interesting that you interpret melancholy. I always seem to feel like the music is all about the exploration. I will conceed there are a couple of song tracks like 4 and 5 on the album that are slow and too ambient. I just feel like the "combat" songs just picking up the tempo of the music.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned: FTL: Faster Than Light sound track. Do yourselves a favour and get both that and Ben Prunty's other album "Chromatic T-rex". This is one of the few game albums that i listen to on a regular basis. Very relaxing to listen to while driving.

Advert > Game. This looks like a bad Warner Bros. Game/movie tie-in. just look at games like Terminator Salvation and Wanted: Weapons of Fate. Terrible 'games' that are unfortunately on my steam game list.

I was sort of expecting some line in the whole it looked like Farcry at the start and then in the middle had a weird Tomb Raider feel. but i liked this game even though i didn't play res 4 and we played co op the whole way through the game. Also Yahtzee you could have removed the pistol from her...
