I'd just like to point out that the game has been available on steam since the 09 version, but last year was the first time it used steamworks exclusively. So it's not just down to it suddenly becoming available on the platform, as some people in this thread are assuming.

Both are great and classic movies. I don't have the knowledge and education to decide if one is technically better than the other though.

Just bought it, played a few matches. It's pretty fun. Would have preferred dedicated servers, but you can't always get what you want. For the price it's a good deal in my book.
I thought Saint's Row: The Third had pretty decent voice acting overall. Until Viola DeWynter was introduced. Worst voice acting I have heard in such a high profile title. Did some searching, found out it was some ex porn star. I guess what they say about the level of acting in porn is spot on...
I bought it, but only because I found it really cheap, close to 15 euros with free shipping. I don't think I would have paid much more for it, and I won't spend any money on DLC. At that price though, yeah. Got some entertainment out of it.
If the space combat was anywhere near as awesome as Novastorm, I'd pick up the game instantly.. well, if it wasn't for the subscription fee, and the cartoony graphics, and the rest of the game. I miss Novastorm :(

It got pretty good reviews, but didn't sell well enough to cover development costs.
