Chrono Trigger is a cheap holiday paperback compared to FF6. Paper-thin characters, clunky spell mechanics and a general lack of urgency in the plot makes it one of the most inexplicably popular SNES JRPGS imo. It did look nice at the time though - but compared to Secret of Mana 2 it...
