I haven't played a demo in years, but it's not like i buy any magazines regularly. It's handy being able to check out gameplay videos on the net, I read allot of reviews as well so i don't think i really miss playing demos.

I'm the same when it comes to books, i get very attached to the characters so when i run out of books including the characters i have got to know it's upsetting to leave those characters behind. It does sound weird now that i say it out loud :D

Robin Hobb's series of books that follow Fitz Chivalry... had me crying a few times. Unweaving the rainbow and the god delusion brought a tear to the eye aswel, i've never had a game raise such emotions in me however.
