It's just that there's been a while since a decent one came out. Shadow of Rome was a PS2 game as are both of your options. I guess Ryse is the closest thing to the basic idea and as far as I know it's pretty terrible. I enjoyed how ridiculous Shadow of Rome was. It's the only game I've played...
Gun is actually one of my favorite games. The combat especially was pretty great. It was a much cheesier take on the Western with the ridiculous weapons.
Speaking of under-visited periods of history, I want more gladiator games. The only one I can remember is Shadow of Rome which was stupid...
I saw it at an early showing and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I don't know what he means when he says that no one in the movie had any energy. Both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels did some great work and they still have pretty good chemistry. It's miles better than Neighbors or other recent...
The Witcher 2, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas.
Also, since everybody else seems to have forgotten it, Kingdoms of Amalur.
It was pretty well received and I enjoyed it. The combat was pretty fun and the environments were very nice. The story was a bit meh and the NPCs were bland but it was still...
I don't mind the accent. I want MovieBob to say gangbustas in that accent each time he likes a movie. That was awesome.
And this movie has a 67% on Rotten Tomatoes not 47%.
Needless to say I loved District 9 and I'll definitely be watching this since I usually agree with MovieBob.
You guys want to know the best part? Kotaku's own review of the game says that the over-the-top character design fits so well in the game that the reviewer didn't even notice it and that he understands the design choice now that he's played the game.
Seriously, nowhere do they list it as a con...
This game is the anti-Saints Row(in terms of DLC).
Quite possibly my favourite developers and I have no doubt(from what I've seen) that the Witcher 3 will set the benchmark for next-gen RPGs.
Cracked.com actually has a forum thread dedicated to people throwing out there own ideas. Brockway(one of the columnists) started it and he occasionally collects some of the best ideas for an article. Here's my favorite:
"I would love to see a L.A. Noire-style game set in the world of Who...
Red Dead Redemption hands-down. Maybe tied with Spec Ops: The Line
Honorable mentions to AC: Brotherhood, Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Vanquish and Sleeping Dogs.
Sleeping Dogs especially. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but every element of the game(with the exception of the gunplay) is polished...
Free aim! It has free aim! That means using a ranged weapon from really far out is now possible since the auto targeting is no longer necessary for shooting and assassinations with ranged weapons now involve skill.
The world looks amazing and I love the faction battles. The whole storm thing is...
I've got to say that I'm looking forward to this game. I really like the setting and aesthetic.
Since the gameplay holds up too, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this game. More XCOM is never a bad thing and it seems as if the developers are really trying to craft a unique game.
Apparently this is all a false alarm. Once again Microsoft is sending conflicting messages according to the good folks over at Destructoid.

That was just stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
A live-action trailer seriously? And what's up with the compound bow? He steal that thing and those moves from Hawkeye?
And then he says "Did you miss me?" in the smarmiest voice possible. Man, I felt like punching that guy in the face.
