Basilisk is a pretty good short series. A waring clans type anime, i think it is only 12 episodes long though. Claymore is another pretty good one.

No, the true question is. What would happen if you put one portal on a wall, then shot the other portal on a plywood plank lets say, then moved the portal on the plywood into the one on the wall so one portal was inside the other.

Firefly is the first that always comes to mind. But i would also have to say Samurai Jack, the best show that has ever been on Cartoon Network (in my opinion).
