I'd say competitive Team Fortress Classic 10 years ago. The game's a ghost town now minus a few dedicated players. TFC offered the fast competitive skill base gameplay that is almost unseen today. There were no weapon mods, level ups, or any RPG elements you might find in a modern shooter...
My first PC gaming memory.. It was around 1994 (I think) and I was four years old. My dad brought me to the family restaurant so he could do some opening preparations. He wanted me to occupy myself while he worked, so he fired up my older brother's copy of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. I've only...
Civ rev is an excellent title. It's a solid console title in a genre that isn't very prevalent on the 360. I enjoyed every moment that I played-- but i never actually completed a game. My console conveniently/suspiciously died right before the xbone released.
The most frustrating boss I've defeated in recent memory would probably be the final boss at the end of Metal Gear Rising. It was a skill test in precision and memory. I can't say that i've experienced that many frustrating bosses as most boss fights now are just bullet sponges now, but my...
I disagree about the game screaming to be "hub-based." Joel and Ellie are trying to make a bee-line for the firefly base. They aren't going to be interested in doing missions for people(whom are likely dangerous to begin with), or searching some dilapidated apartments for medicine, or...

How about something based off the time of the Black Plague? I don't believe it's something that's ever been in a game. There's lots of different gameplay perspectives with the black plague as a an antagonist. It can work so long as the developers don't turn it into a zombie game.
