That was Shadowrun which was based off the pencil and paper RPG by the same name and a not really fun SNES game. But Shadowgate was really fun when NES was around.

I have enjoyed both but FF13 is edging out DAOA because it's got alot more content. And FF13's battle system has been really fun to learn and play around with.
