Heh, were kinda getting off topic here, but whatever. National Service would help because, like one guy said (sorry guys I don't really pay much attention to your names) it just gets the hoodlums off the street for one. It disciplines them, and in the end it will teach them to get along better...

Why isn't it the best way to fix it? "decades old ideas of discipline" have worked extremely well for thousands of years, and people are making a big mistake by getting rid of them. History lesson aside, how would you fix it? What alternative can you offer?

Yeah, the men's division. My dad was in the Marines, and like a lot of people seem to think about the Marines, he is a hardass, but I know another guy who was a Marine, and he's really cool, he's a gamer. Personally I think the Army (and especially the National Guard) are a bunch of sissies...
