I pretty much ignore the hell out of the graphic novel section of B&N. Or I WOULD, except for some reason they insist on putting tabletop RPG materials and D&D stuff RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO IT, so I DO have to deal with these kids sitting in the goddamn aisle.
Still, I don't make a big deal out...
I say the following as a huge Star Wars fan.
The Star Wars saga is a series of enjoyable but ultimately quite bad movies.
There is not a single exception in the entire saga, 1-6. The constant insistence that the prequels are significantly worse than the original trilogy owes far more to...
Never been in one, but I'm not going to say "FML". I'm not obsessing over the idea, but I'd like to give it a shot, if only to see what all the fuss is about.
TL;DR: I want to be in one FOR SCIENCE!
Everyone involved in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All's circus case can fuck right off, as can Alita Tiala and Wocky Kitaki's entire family from that Yakuza case in Apollo Justice. Goddammit I hate those cases.
Other than that, I'd have to go with Carth Onasi's son Dustil, mainly...
Immersion's a bit difficult to define, but it's basically reaching the point where you start to really care about what happens in the plot and you start to feel like you've actually done something cool when your character does something cool onscreen.
4E's art is inconsistent. Some of it is really really good, and some of it is horrendously shitty.
D&D 2e's art is pretty much consistently good, but 2e's for nostalgiafags now, so whatever.
Star Wars Saga has art that is similarly inconsistent with 4E's art style, but leans more towards...
"HIV is the constant Counterspelling, and AIDS is the totally empty field you're left with because you're playing against a control deck."
Yes. I compared a life-destroying disease to Magic: The Gathering for the sake of a ridiculously nerdy joke that also somewhat explains the difference...
Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup (only sports game I can tolerate), Alice in Wonderland DS (got good reviews, but no one will believe you; it's a Metroidvania escort mission [a GOOD escort mission, seriously] with Okami graphics and is better than even that sounds) and Wizard of Oz: Beyond the...
There is but one show remaining that is remotely good.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
And Boba Fett's set to fuck that one up right pretty if the season 2 finale is any indication. Damn kid's whinier than Anakin ever was.
Cool. I started on 3.5, learned 4E, and I'm now learning AD&D 2e revised, so I'm getting to be sort of all-around. I recall thinking at first that it was 3.5 near the beginning, but then the rest of it seemed to be playing out more like 2e, so I was just curious.
I find myself wanting to encourage Yahtzee to review Final Fantasy XIII when/if he can, mainly because I know how much he hates JRPGs and I know that the primary draw of Zero Punctuation is watching him suffer.
Is anyone else possibly behind me on this?
Knights of the Old Republic, but after the events of KOTOR 2, after the Exile starts rebuilding the Jedi Order. Also, I'd want to be part of said Order.
School shootings and other violence by youth happened before 1980 and before video games. I wish people would stop using video games a scapegoat for everything. There are real issues to deal with.
